LISLE, Ill. — Another day, another national title for Athens senior-to-be Breana Gambrell.

One day after claiming gold in the long jump here at the USA Track & Field Youth Outdoor Championships at Benedictine University, Breana Gambrell won a gold medal in the triple jump  in the 17- & 18-year-old division with a hop, skip, and jump of 37-feet, 2 1/2-inches.

Just like Wednesday, Breana Gambrell won her title with her sixth and final jump of the day.

Ariana Gambrell, who will be a junior in the fall, qualified for Friday finals in the 100-meter hurdles in the 15-16 division with the sixth-fastest time of the day in the preliminaries — 16.35 seconds.
