BERWICK —Juniata took advantage of several errors and some walks to post a 15-3 win over Athens, eliminating them from postseason play, here Friday in Section 3 10- and 11-year-old Little League baseball playoff action.
Justin Reagan led the Athens offense with two hits and Brock May added one hit.
Mitch Kerrick, Ryan Murrelle, Mason Hibbard and May split the pitching duties for Athens.
" This was a first for all of them and I was pleased how they played," said coach Jim Kerrick. "It was a great experience for them. Little League is not just about baseball, but developing young kids into better players and and more importantly young men."
