YOUTH BASKETBALL: ATHENS ROLLS OVER WAVERLY IN 7TH- & 8TH-GRADE ACTION (2019-02-19)

OWEGO - Mason Lister poured in 27 points to lead Athens to a 46-26 win over Waverly here Sunday in 7th- & 8th-grade boys basketball action in the Owego League at the Owego Boys & Girls Club.

Conner Mosher added five points in the win for Athens, while Korey Miller and Nicholas Jacob added four points apiece, and Carson Smith and Chris Mitchell chipped in with three points apiece.

Athens also wrapped up a second-place finish in the Binghamton Junior High League with a 56-36 win over Homer.

Athens is 13-3 on the season.
