Section IV Playoffs
Class C Opening Round
11-Tioga (11-9) at 6-Watkins Glen (14-5), 6 p.m.: The Tigers are coming off a 61-51 win over Marathon on Feb. 5, while the Senecas won the overall IAC Large School title with a 62-56 win over Whitney Point Thursday night - avenging a regular-season loss.
After a 4-4 start, Watkins Glen has won 10 of its last 11 games.
Tioga is looking to duplicate last season's run to the Class C title game - the program's first championship game appearance in nearly 30 years.
With the new IAC scheduling format these two teams did not play this season, but Tioga did beat a pair of Large School foes in Waverly and Notre Dame that handed Watkins Glen losses this season. WG lost to S-VE once, and Tioga lost to the Panthers twice.
