THE VALLEY — The forecast of 12 to 20 inches of snow from Winter Storm Harper, which is anticipated to reach the Valley early Saturday afternoon is already effecting Saturday’s schedule.

•  The Athens girls basketball game at Wyalusing has been postponed. No make-up date has been announced.

•  The Tunkhannock Swimming & Diving Invite has been postponed and re-scheduled for Feb. 1-2.

•  Athens junior high wrestlers will not attend Corry Tournament Saturday, and will instead wrestle NEB Friday night.
