COLLEGE BASEBALL: SAYRE GRAD HANAFIN SLAMS TWO HOMERS IN FREDERICK COLLEGE WIN (2019-05-03)

CUMBERLAND, Md. "” Sayre grad Connor Hanafin enjoyed the best day of his college career here Thursday, belting a pair of home runs to help Frederick College to a 9-5 win over Allegany College of Maryland.

Hanafin was 2-for-3, including his third and fourth round-trippers of the season, with three runs scored and three RBI in the win.

Hanafin has hit in four consecutive games and is 6-for-15 (.400) with two home runs, five RBI, and six runs scored in that span.

On the season, Hanafin is hitting .343 (34 hits in 99 ABs) with five doubles, one triple, four home runs and 26 RBI. He has also scored 35 runs and stolen two bases.

Hanafin has walked 22 times this season, and has a .484 on-base percentage. He also has a .535 slugging percentage, and a 1.019 OPS.

Frederick, 31-13 on the season, and hosts Thomas Nelson CC Saturday.
