Brittany Vergason, a junior on the Keuka College softball team, was recently named a third-team North Eastern Athletic Conference all-star selection.
Vergason hit .263 (26 hits in 99 at-bats) with four doubles, 14 RBI, 18 runs scored and four stolen bases. She walked 12 times and had an on-base percentage of .348.
Vergason had four multi-hit games on the season, including a 3-for-4 effort against Johnson & Wales that included a double, three RBI, and a stolen base.
Vergason has shined defensively for the Wolves, ranking third in the NEAC with 71 assists this season - fourth best in program history. In her three-year career, she has surpassed 200 assists defensively and ranks second on the career list.
