Down 2-1, a three-run rally put N-T ahead in the winner's bracket semifinal. A Jackson Bombard single, Shea Bailey triple, Brennan Sindoni walk and Logan Bellis double plated the first three players.

N-T tacked on two more runs in the fifth. Andrew Earley singled and scored, and Bombard walked and scored while Sindoni smacked a triple.

Bombard scored Nichols-Tioga's initial run following a base on balls in the first.

U-E rode a double and a walk to a 2-1 edge in the second. They would pick up their final run following a pair of singles in the sixth.

Bombard, Bailey, Sindoni, Bellis, Garrett Godfrey and Earley had one hit apiece for N-T.

Just an inning before, Brennan Sindoni cleared the 200-foot center field fence for a solo home run that tied the game at six.

U-E tagged N-T for four first-inning runs, but Jackson and Bombard walked and scored to cut the lead to 4-2.

U-E would extend its advantage 5-2 in the second and 6-2 in the fourth.

Bellis walked, Bailey doubled, Godfrey singled and Luther doubled in the fourth as Nichols-Tioga trimmed the lead to 6-5.
