WOMEN'S COLLEGE SWIMMING: ATHENS GRAD FISHER NAMED TO CONFERENCE ALL-SPORTSMANSHIP TEAM (2024-03-27)

DALLAS, Pa. — Athens grad Taylar Fisher, a freshman on the Misericordia University women’s swim team, was recently named to the 2023-24 MAC Winter All-Sportsmanship team.

The team includes one student-athlete from each institution for each sport and recognizes student-athletes who exemplify great character while displaying exceptional sportsmanship on and off the field.
 
Honorees represent their team, institution and the conference with integrity and exhibit respect for themselves, teammates, coaches and opponents.
 
Individual student-athletes were selected by the head coaches and student-athletes from their respective teams.

At the season-ending MAC Championships, Fisher finished 14th in the 200-yard IM in a time of 2:26.79. She as 16th in the 400-yard IM in a time of 5:12.98.
