COLLEGE BASEBALL: ATHENS GRAD KRAFT POSTS BACK-TO-BACK SCORELESS OUTINGS FOR ELMIRA COLLEGE (2024-03-28)

ALFRED, N.Y. — Athens grad Luke Kraft, a freshman on the Elmira College baseball team, has posted back-to-back scoreless outings for the Soaring Eagles.

On Tuesday, Kraft struck out two in a perfect inning of relief here in a 22-9 win over Alfred.

In his previous outing, Kraft allowed one hit and a base on balls in a scoreless inning in a 10-1 loss to Ithaca College.

Kraft is unscored upon in three of his four relief appearances this season. He has a 2.08 ERA, with two strikeouts and three walks in 4 1/3 innings on the mound.

Elmira, now 7-6, returns to action Friday when it hosts Keuka College in the first game of a three-game series.
