SECTION IV GIRLS GOLF: WAVERLY'S ROBINSON FIRES LOW ROUND; VESTAL PULLS OUT WIN (2024-03-28)

CHEMUNG — Waverly junior Breanne Robinson shot the low-medal round, but Vestal had two girls break 50 to pull out a 205-214 win here Thursday afternoon in Section IV girls golf action here at Tomasso’s Golf Course.

Robinson fired a 42 to pace the Wolverines, now 0-3, while junior Madalyn Farnham and senior Natalie Lauper each shot 57, and sophomores Addison Hunt and Sophia Sileo added matching rounds of 58.

Allison Yoon led Vestal with a 45, Jaelynn Wiggins shot a 46, and Molly Schoenfeldt added a 54.

Waverly returns to action April 9 at Willowcreek Golf Course.
