During his eight-game hit streak, Horton is hitting .556 (15 hits in 27 ABs) with five home runs, one double, 10 RBI, and 12 runs scored.

On the season, Horton is hitting .333 (21 hits in 63 ABs) with 19 runs scored, two doubles, one triple, eight home runs, and 20 RBI. He has a .778 slugging percentage, and a .440 on-base percentage for a 1.218 OPS.

Despite missing seven games due to injuries, Horton is tied for the team lead in batting average, and leads the team in home runs, slugging percentage, and OPS.

Liberty, now 15-15, finishes its three-game set at New Mexico State this afternoon.
