COLLEGE BASEBALL: SAYRE GRAD HANAFIN HAS HIT SAFELY IN 10 OF LAST 11 GAMES FOR PENN COLLEGE (2024-04-25)

WILLIAMSPORT — Sayre grad Quinn Hanafin, a senior on the Penn College baseball team, has hit safely in 10 of his last 11 games, including a string of four consecutive multi-hit games.

Hanafin is hitting .319 (37 hits in 116 ABs) with 14 runs scored, seven doubles, two home runs, 27 RBI.

Hanafin has 10 multi-hit games this season, including three three-hit games.

During one stretch, Hanafin had three consecutive two-hit games in games against Penn State-Abington. He went 6-for-7 with a double, eight RBI, and five base on balls.

He followed that up with a 2-for-2 with two walks, and three-RBI performance against Alfred University.

Penn College, now 17-18, will host nationally-ranked Penn-State Harrisburg for a regular-season ending  three-game series this weekend, including a doubleheader Saturday.
