COLLEGE SOFTBALL: ATHENS GRAD SULLIVAN DRIVES IN THREE IN KING'S COLLEGE LOSS (2024-03-16)

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — Athens grad Harley Sullivan, a junior on the King’s College softball team,  collected three RBI Wednesday in a 9-5 loss to Moravian College.

Sullivan’s first RBI, on a fielder’s choice, gave King’s College a 2-0 lead.

Sullivan added a two-run single to left field in the fourth inning to give the Monarchs a 5-4 lead.

Sullivan, who hit .347 and .339 in her first two seasons, is hitting .227 (5 hits in 22 ABs) with three runs scored, and seven RBI in eight games.

Defensively, Sullivan is flawless behind the plate in 24 defensive chances. She has thrown out two of the four runners attempting to steal.

King’s College, now 6-2, returns to action today with games against the University of Lynchburg, and New York University at the Margie Knight Softball Tournament in Sailsbury, Md.
