COLLEGE BASEBALL: SAYRE GRAD HUBBARD EARNS WIN IN FIRST COLLEGE START AT MONROE CC (2024-03-16)

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Sayre grad Jackson Hubbard, a freshman on the Monroe Community College baseball team, earned a win in his first start collegiate start here Tuesday afternoon.

Hubbard allowed one run on two hits in six innings, while striking out six and walking four in MCC

In his two appearances this season, Hubbard is 1-0 with a 1.00 ERA. He has eight strikeouts in nine innings.

Monroe, now 5-1, returns to action Sunday in a doubleheader against Cayuga Community College.
