COLLEGE BASEBALL: SAYRE GRAD HANAFIN DRIVING IN (LOTS OF) RUNS FOR PENN COLLEGE (2024-03-16)

LANCASTER, Pa. — Sayre grad Quinn Hanafin, a senior on the Penn College baseball team, has six RBI in his last two games, and five multiple-RBI games in the Wildcats’ first nine games this season.

Hanafin blasted a three-run home run, his second round-tripper of the season, in a 6-5 loss to Juniata Thursday afternoon.

He followed that up Saturday with a 1-for-3 effort at the plate that included three RBI, and one run scored.

Hanafin, who hit .376 and had six homers and 39 RBI in 42 games last season, is hitting .250 (9 hits in 36 ABs) this season, with three doubles, two home runs, 13 RBI, and seven runs scored in nine games.

Penn College returns to action this afternoon with a doubleheader at Lancaster Bible.
