COLLEGE SOFTBALL: WAVERLY GRAD ENNIS RAPS OUT PAIR OF HITS IN BROCKPORT DEBUT (2024-03-17)

CLAREMONT, Fla. — Waverly grad Aubrey Ennis, who played for JUCO powerhouse Corning last year, had two hits in her first game for Brockport here Saturday at Legends Way Park.

The Golden Eagles were 1-3 this weekend at The Spring Games, and will play six more games here before heading north.

On Saturday, Ennis made her Brockport debut a memorable one with two hits, a base on balls, and two RBI in a 9-8 loss to Wisconsin-River Falls.

Later in the day, Ennis had an RBI in a 6-4 loss to Susquehanna University.

Today, Ennis was 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Brockport’s 10-2 win over Keuka College.

Brockport closed out the weekend with an 8-2 loss to The College at Old Westbury. The Golden Eagles were held to three hits, with Ennis going 0-for-2 at the plate.

On the season, Ennis is 3-for-11 (.273) with two walks, one run scored, and three RBI.

Brockport returns to action Tuesday against Framingham State in the morning, and Knox College in the afternoon.
