THE VALLEY — The baseball and softball diamonds at Tioga, and at Riverfront Park will be busy today as the Tigers and Redskins host league rivals, while the other half of the schedule is on the road.

BASEBALL
Cowanesque Valley (4-6) at Sayre (3-5), 4:30 p.m.: The Redskins dropped a 6-3 decision at home to Northeast Bradford Monday, while the Indians dropped a 5-4 decision to Canton Tuesday.

Moravia at Tioga (7-1), 4:30 p.m.: The Tigers are coming off a 2-0 loss at Union Springs.

SOFTBALL
Cowanesque Valley (11-1) at Sayre (2-5), 4:30 p.m.:  The Redskins are coming off a 12-4 loss to Athens Saturday while the Indians topped Canton, 16-5.

Moravia (5-2) at Tioga (4-1), 4:30 p.m.: The Tigers are coming off a 13-11 loss at Union Springs Monday, while the Blue Devils are coming off a 9-2 win over Newfield.

Waverly (5-3, 5-1 STAC) at Chenango Valley, (5-2, 4-1) 5 p.m.: The Wolverines are coming off a 12-0 loss to unbeaten Susquehanna Valley, while the Warriors topped Seton Catholic 14-2.

In their first meeting, Waverly prevailed, 13-12.

FLAG FOOTBALL
Waverly at Susquehanna Valley, 6 p.m.: The Wolverines are coming off a 40-20 win at Greene Saturday.

BOYS GOLF
Tioga (5-1) at Trumansburg, 4 p.m. @ Village Golf Course: The Tigers are coming off an 18-stroke win over previously-unbeaten Groton Tuesday at the Tioga Country Club.

TENNIS
Waverly (0-7) at Owego (1-5), 5 p.m.: The Wolverines were swept by Chenango Forks Monday, while the River Hawks were swept by Chenango Valley.
