THE VALLEY — There are only three events on the docket Thursday, and all of them are North of the Border, with the Tioga softball and Waverly tennis teams at home, and the Tioga golf team playing S-VE at Shepard Hills.

SOFTBALL
Marathon (2-3) at Tioga (5-1), 4:30 p.m.: The Tigers are coming off a 14-6 win over Moravia Wednesday, while the Olympians dropped a 13-12 decision at Newfield.

BOYS GOLF
Tioga (5-2) vs. S-VE, 3:30 at The Club at Shepard Hills: The Tigers are coming off a two-stroke loss to Trumansburg, while the Panthers lost a lopsided decision to Union Springs / Port Byron.

TENNIS
Chenango Valley (4-4) at Waverly (0-8): The Wolverines are coming off a 4-2 loss at Owego Wednesday, while the Warriors swept Owego, 7-0, Tuesday.
